Inclusive Access
Using this website comfortably
We want students, families, and community members to find information and apply for support with confidence.
The Sekondi Education Fund website is designed so more people can use it — whether you browse on a phone, use a keyboard, enlarge text, or rely on a screen reader. We keep improving the experience as we learn what helps our community.
Moving around with a keyboard
You can move through links, buttons, menus, and form fields with the Tab key. Use Shift and Tab to move backwards. A clear outline shows where you are on the page. Use the “Skip to main content” link at the top to jump past the repeated navigation.
Screen readers and assistive tools
Pages use headings and labelled form fields so assistive tools can describe the structure clearly. When something important happens — such as an error on a form — a message explains what to fix in plain language, without technical system details.
Reading text comfortably
- You can enlarge text with your browser or device settings and still follow the layout.
- Important information is not shown by colour alone, so meaning stays clear if colours look different on your screen.
- Light and dark themes are available if you prefer a different contrast.
Focus and reduced motion
Interactive controls show a visible focus state when you select them with a keyboard. If your device asks for reduced motion, we shorten or remove non-essential animation so the page feels calmer.
Forms and applications
Application and contact forms include labels for each field. Error messages tell you what is missing or incorrect so you can continue without guessing. You can save draft applications and return later during an open window.
Images and alternative text
Meaningful photographs and graphics include alternative text where it helps. Decorative images are marked so assistive tools can skip them.
Documents and downloads
Some PDF guides and letters may be harder to use with assistive technology. If a download does not work for you, contact the Fund and ask for the information in another format.
